April 2007 Google Page Rank update in progress
By fiLi • Apr 27th, 2007 • Category: SEOThe Google Page Rank update for April 2007 is underway. Google’s Datacenters are currently slowly updating to the new Page Rank results. Google Page Rank updates mean little for SERP, but are usually celebrated throughout the websphere and the blogsphere as Page Rank transforms into money. With revenue programs like Text Link Ads, a higher Page Rank means higher pay per link, and a lower Page Rank means lower pay per link. Same with buying/selling links and a simple link exchange.
To check your live Page Rank updates to see what your site is updating to use with either iWebTool’s PageRank Checker or Live Pagerank.
What’s been happening with some of the sites I run? there are some interesting changes with one site going 0->4 another 5->6 and changes like this blog going 0->3. Nope, I didn’t have to keep track of all this manually, Smart Pagerank sent me email notifications. BTW - these results only show that Page Rank predictions with tools like Google PageRank Prediction are way off.
Did your site’s Page Rank change? how’s that going to affect your earnings?
i agree, many webmasters love the idea of having the TBPR but this causes confusion as it can show you different results then what your PR really is, i hope google get rid of TBPR but i would say they wouldent as its a great marketing tool for google
i have seen changes in the PR sytem to my site’s, also at http://www.googlebugs.com there are stats and results showing that the google update is finally happening
thanks
