Recommended Cheap & Affordable Budget Accommodation in Hong Kong

Finding a decent accommodation in Hong Kong can be tricky, and I frequently get questions from friends and colleagues coming to Hong Kong and looking for a cheap and affordable budget accommodation.

I’ll start off by recommendations I recently got from three different friends coming in to visit Hong Kong and wanting to stay on HK [...]

Shani Hong Kong Day 9 - MTR-6.JPG

Meet Shani, my adorable little sister, who suddenly – out of nowhere – called me up from Israel on my birthday to let me know she’ll be arriving at Hong Kong the following day on a last minute flight deal. We’ve had a terrific 8 days of touring around Hong Kong and having loads of [...]

"The Best Trip in the World" Taiwan Contest : Explorers Wanted

Kending Beaches-15.JPG

It could have been nicer if they confined all water sports to [...]

N Seoul Tower-19.JPG

One of Seoul’s familiar land marks, looking a bit like the one in Seattle-USA, is the Seoul N Tower (or CJ Seoul Tower). Situated on a hill and overlooking Seoul from above (236m) it offers some spectacular views that are a bit hard to catch on a regular camera.

The whole place looks great at night…
