One of Seoul’s familiar land marks, looking a bit like the one in Seattle-USA, is the Seoul N Tower (or CJ Seoul Tower). Situated on a hill and overlooking Seoul from above (236m) it offers some spectacular views that are a bit hard to catch on a regular camera.
The whole place looks great at night…
But [...]

Although I’m absolutely fascinated with Asian history and know very little about all that’s Korean, I didn’t have the chance to visit many of the Korean historical sites. One of those that I did visit was Gyeongbok Palace (경복궁) of northern Seoul, which was first constructed around the end of the 14th century but having [...]

No stands all the way up, just two strings [...]

Arriving there, it [...]

I’m very impressed with Seoul, and Korea in general. From the little I’ve seen in the short time that I’ve spent there, it strikes me as a great place to live. With the Olympics and the World Cup held there, the city’s really well built and generally looks very modern and convenient, though completely “Asian”. [...]

The South Korean TV drama “My Lovely Sam Soon” (/”My name is Sam Soon”/내 이름은 김삼순/“סאם סון המתוקה”) is one of Asia’s most successful TV drama ever and it has finally made it to Israel with Hebrew subtitles. Aside from Anime series, I think this is the first Asian drama shown in Israeli TV, and [...]
