About the blog : Fili’s world has been running for over three and half years now, slowly making its way up the search engine charts and into readers’ RSS reading lists. Honestly, I’m still a bit puzzled why, but the blog niche works, reader base is growing and readers come back.

Some stats : Surprisingly, Google Analytics reports that Fili’s world gets over a 2000 readers daily, averaging around 2.2 pageviews per user, which, actually puts it at the top blogger list for English bloggers about Hong Kong, China and Taiwan and among some of the best in the regional travel niche.

Why ads : I write this blog because I enjoy it. But, I’ve been asked repeatedly whether it’s possible to help support the blog or if there’s an option to promote blog niche related services and products. I believe content related ads are beneficial to both readers and bloggers. Those who are against ads usually find ways to disable them with browser extensions, most don’t mind ads if they’re not intrusive, and a few find them useful and helpful.
