If you needed more proof how stunning Istanbul’s mosques are, Ortakoy Mosque will do it for sure. Take a look at this Ortakoy Mosque down-up panorama (bet you didn’t see many of those)…
Perfection. It doesn’t get much better than this.
It’s a beautiful, yet also quite simple and basic, giving it a special aroma of grandeur.
It’s even more impressive on the outside, located next to the Bosporus river, in one of the most popular areas along the river.
Around the mosque are little street markets with various vendors selling arts, fake antiques and delicious street food.
Of all the unbelievable variety of Turkish street food, this next one seemed to be a big hit with my sister. It might look small, but trust me, it a full meal for two people.
Aye ya yay. After being in Asia for a while, Istanbul was that needed change that made me question where I truly belong. I could definitely spend some more time there.
