Thank you to the Hong Kong blogs The best source for information about any place you move into is expat blogs. While it’s difficult to find the high quality ones that really offer good info before you arrive at your expatriate destination, you are usually able to form a good reading list within the first year.

Before arriving at Hong Kong, I thought Hong Kong is an expat blogosphere wasteland, compared to what I’ve seen in Taiwan. But, in the 10 months that I’ve been living in Hong Kong, I’ve come across some really good blogs that I follow regularly and have come to expat my RSS reader list to an impressive list of relatively active blogs written by expats who take the time and energy to share their Hong Kong with the rest of us.

Following is my recommended list of Hong Kong blogs to check out (ordered alphabetically) :

Thanks, guys. Keep doing the terrific job that you’re doing.

Some of the new media kings and queens of HK (some of those that I noticed on Twitter, this list doesn’t really mean anything) (ordered alphabetically) :

People who are passionate about new media and seem to know what they’re doing, bringing the twitter-sphere/blogo-sphere closer together.

Other blogs, some more updated than others which I read a few times atleast since arriving in Hong Kong (mostly ordered alphabetically) :

If you know of any others I’ve missed, please do tell.

Happy new year 2010, y’all ^_^
