2009 is about to close, 2010 awaits. For those interested, here are a few stats about Fili’s World – the blog- for the year 2009.
Over the last year I wrote 205 blog posts, averaging a post every 1.75 days, which is surprising with the insane work load I’ve had.
I think it shows that there’s been a transition from words to more photos and videos and most of the time spent is now with arranging photos, uploading and sorting into blog posts which leaves less time and passion to actually write.
If you’re wondering about traffic, it still pretty stable compared to last year, with about 1300-1500 unique visitors a day and 2200-2500 pageviews, depending on the Google weather.
Looking at the topics and contemplating what people search for, I think it would come as no surprise that the following 2009 posts were the most popular :
Most commented post (24) was Taiwan’s Beauty : Top Most Beautiful Taiwanese Girls.
Conclusion – people care about girls, education, & business, but mainly girls.
Running almost 5 years, folks repeatedly ask me what’s in it for me. Well, it’s great for networking and I occasionally meet really interesting people, get invited to some events & social gatherings and am asked my opinion about books and articles on topics I find fascinating. Best of all, it helps me keep general track of my memories. I would otherwise probably forget most of what I’ve been up to. Try it, you’ll see what I mean.
See you next year.
