Looking at her, it’s hard to believe she’s 90. Living all by herself in the hottest, youngest section of Tel-Aviv, my 90 years old grandma is still doing well. Last week, my family back home celebrated her 90th birthday with 4 generations gathered and an evening arranged in her honor at my parents’ house in Jerusalem.

From Vienna to Tel-Aviv : My Grandma’s 90th Birthday

Growing up in Vienna, she’s gone through alot, making her way to Israel around the catastrophes of second world war. My mom, together with my cousin, prepared an album book with a collection of photos dating as far back as they could find.

Here she is today, on the right, looking at the album. She’s looking great…

Since I couldn’t join the party, I did a short video about HKUST and sent it over to her as a birthday note…

Happy birthday, Grandma. Many more years to come…
