Hey Fili,

Your pictures take me down memory lane to when I lived in Shenzhen in 04/05. I tool my Mom and Father-in-law to this park on Boxing Day 05. It was really clean then and still looks pretty good from your pics. As I recall there were also some small animals and birds around there. As for what Carrie says, yeah maybe its changed since I was there but I never really thought much of Shenzhen - I muched preferred the travelling the interior of China and as a visitor much preferred Chendu and Nanjing. But the minature park was pretty cool.

Anyway, nice post and a good walk down memory lane.

Ha ha.

Paul

Carrie - thanks. Yeah, it's wonderful having Shenzhen half an hour away on an MTR ride from HK. Great for shopping and taking cheap flights to other destinations in China. ^_^

Great photos and update Fili. Shenzhen rates high in our travel books for cool cities in China. We really enjoyed it and I can confirm that Splendid China was well-worth our time. There are some really great attractions both in and outside of the city.
