Seeing China has never been easier. Splendid China Folk Culture Village in Shenzhen promises to deliver the highlights of China with a walkable amusement park. Splendid China exhibits mini-versions of all the main natural and historical attractions of China.
Precise miniature of Xian Terra Cotta Warriors, The Great Wall of China, The Forbidden City, The Old Summer Palace, Ancient Observatory of Beijing and many others are encompassed, allowing for some great photo ops. There are Chinese speaking guides available at the entrance who ramble endlessly in very quick heavy accented Mandarin. Be prepared to part from 120yuan, which would grant you entrance to both Splendid China and the nearby China (minorities) Folk Village. I’ll get to that a bit later.
Here are some of the highlights from my 80 minutes walk across China. Try and see how many of those you can make out.
