Chinese class, every day at freaking 8am in the morning, was making me so tired recently, that the only thing I want to do when there’s no class afterwards is go get some sleep. So, instead of napping at home, I figured there has to be some place I can relax at around in Tainan.

Are you feeling it? :P

Not much of a beach, but there is a stone pier (that’s how they call it, right?) where the local fishermen come to try out their luck and some highschool kids come to make-out and fool around (yeah, they also have that in Taiwan).

On the way back, just out of curiosity, I stopped to see what that Wen’s old residence that the signs in Anping were pointing to was. An old Taiwanese style Anping house…

Fili, the word you wanted is “pier” but those stone structures like that are often referred to as a “jetty.” generally piers are a type of permanent dock and the word refers to the upright supports which are also known as piers. confused? i am!

    great article. i love Tainan!
