Introducing Israeli Girls… in Chinese

It always comes up at some point of my Taiwanese-foreigner conversation. “So, how are Taiwanese girls compared to Israeli girls? How are Asian girls compared to Western girls? which ones do you prefer? why?”. When it comes to this topic – Curiosity knows no limits.

I admit it’s not the most flattering piece of work I’ve done, but since I put at least 10 minutes into it, then might as well share it with you. My Chinese teacher asked all students to introduce their national girls to the class, and I was asked to showcase Israeli girls (以色列的美女). 5 minutes per presentation.

This is what I ended up with…

1. The Israeli dream – Bar Refaeli – Leonardo’s pick.
2. Natalie Portman – hey, I know what you’re thinking, but she was born a few blocks from my house, so I say that counts.
3. Our new female prime minister – Tzipi Livni – may she survive the crap politicians she’s surrounded with. Maybe not that 美女, but definitely somewhat  迷人。
4. Our own 帥哥 turned 美女 – Eurovision song content winner, showing the world just how liberal we’d like to think we are (and most of us Israelis are!) – Dana International.

Since my class mostly consists of Indonesians, I’d say this one was a bit different for them. Ah, the small pleasures in life.
