Taiwan’s street food : the “food trucks”

Feeling hungry late at night? happens to me alot, but luckily – there’s a lot of street food in Taiwan. Anybody for some 小吃? The ones I really like are the “food trucks”. At the street corner surrounding NCKU and important interjections in Tainan are a few semi-permanent food trucks that serve different types of food. This next one, with horrible night photography (let’s call it “artistic”), is suppose to be Japanese style.

  • Nicole - you know, we actually have quite a lot of those. In that corner alone, there are two Japanese style trucks of the same type. Maybe it's because of the university, I'm not sure. A few more include boiling all sorts of stuff. Very convenient. ;)

    I'm sure this one is the most special "food truck"
    I only remember maybe there were some small "food carts" in Kaoushiung during my childhood...

    You 're lucky to "have " this one ....and it makes me hungry now....
