Now, that’s bloody hilarious. Jewish American Judy adopts a somewhat unusual Chinese baby … Here’s Judy Alive :

Meet Judy Shapiro,a lonely New York City woman who adopts a Chinese baby girl. When the baby arrives from China, however, it’s a 30-year-old Chinese woman who was kidnapped in Beijing and sold on the black market to an American adoption agency. Judy is so anxious to be a mother, though, that she convinces herself she really does have an infant on her hands.

Until recently I must admit, I’d been pretty lonely. But then I realized I was just ready to be a mom. But everyone said, "Judy, you don’t have a husband or a boyfriend." Or, "Judy, Last week you had to go to the hospital because of an accident with your blender. Are you sure this is wise?" And this one was my favorite: "Judy, what about the time you killed my ferret?"
Well, all those things might be true (who knew ferrets needed water? I thought they were amphibians), but I just know I can do this. I mean, everyone deserves to love and be loved, don’t you think?
That’s why I decided to adopt one of the many discarded baby girls in China. I hear they leave them in piles beside the recycling cans. Can you imagine?
My little dumpling arrived yesterday, and isn’t she just GORGEOUS!?! We’re going to be so happy together. Already, I feel such a bond.
