Israeli newspapers are all over the success of the Israeli headed Koolanoo group in China with the third largest social website called 360Quan. Koolanoo, in case you were wondering, means “all of us” in Hebrew, and I believe the whole thing actually started out with a Jewish social network cloned into Chinese. How bizarre.

360Quan has grown tremendously since first coming out and even Alexa – which has problems reading Chinese netizens – puts it at the top 5000 websites in the world.

It’s terrific seeing how fast the company is growing and some of the future projects planned. The Israeli CEO – Oded Kobo – is extremely fluent and does a great job at promoting the young company. Starting this August, Koolanoo Group is traded with the Hong-Kong stock market raising over 25 million US$.

Not bad at all. Good luck.

(Disclosure : Koolanoo and Oded are recent advertisers  with some of my projects, but they don’t know about this article, they didn’t request it, and I’m not getting paid to write it. I’m just excited to see an Israeli based company doing well in China.)
