Global Peace Index 2008 was recently announced. I can’t say that it makes a whole lot of sense to me, but there are some interesting info and stats in there. Following are the rankings for the Asian nations in the Global Peace Index :

19. North Korea – 133
20. Israel - 136

United States of America, in case you were wondering, is at 97. It also surprises me that they were able to find 4 countries that are less peaceful than Israel.
