Kaohsiung’s ZuoYing : FengShan West Gate, Chi Ming Tang Temple, Spring and Autumn Pavilion and Love River

To make up for what I missed in the first time I’ve been to Kaohsiung and Zuoying (”Touring Kaohsiung’s ZuoYing Lotus Pond - Tiger Dragon Pagoda, Emperor of Dark Heaven, Confucius, and Old City FengShan“) I revisited that area again with John.

Parking down next to the Zuo-Ying Lotus Pond we noticed the other side of Koxinga’s Feng-Shan ancient city gates :

We made our way by foot to the lovely Spring and Autumn Pavilion hosting an elaborate display of Daoist paintings I can never hope to understand inside a long dragon.

Just across the street was the large Chi Ming Tang Temple with 3 floors of Gods lined up for the worshipers.

From there we drove to enjoy a peaceful walk down Kaohsiung’s Love River

The boardwalk hosts a number of great attractions for kids - did you get to drive a fully motorized dragon looking vehicle unsupervised when you were 6? :)

We then made our way up to Sun-Yat-Sen University and sat down at the south American coffee shop to enjoy the moody sunset.

There are some really terrific spots in Kaohsiung and Zuo-Ying.
