Having rested for a few days chilling out not doing much on the Goa beaches I headed out to try and see as much of Goa as possible.

I started off with going up the mountain to the lovely Fort Aguada next to Candolim beach with the light-house overlooking the Panajai  beach and Coconut beach.

Fort Aguada Candolim beach-31.JPGI loved how the western white-trash tourists just didn’t give a sh%t about the local dressing codes, walking around half naked with their tattoos and boobs hanging out all over Candolim. The Indian teenagers that I saw sitting on the beach for hours and staring at burning topless girls from a distance seemed to like it, though.

Driving up the Goa beaches to the north, I drove next to Anjuna again, and arrived at the beautiful Vagator Beach.

Just next to Vagator, looking from atop, is the Chapora Fort. Not many tourists making the effort to go up there and when I finished hiking up it was tourist-empty. The Indian selling cold-drinks to the tired tourists insisted on not leaving me alone till I buy one of the most expensive Cokes available in India. They were absolutely relentless :)

The view from that fort was spectacular. The Portuguese know where to put their forts.

There was a lot of active fishing life all across the northern beaches, with an interesting authentic aroma of stinking fish when you come up to the beach.

I wrapped up the long drive with Goa’s most northern beaches, quiet paradises with gorgeous relatively undeveloped beaches – through Siolim to Morjim Beach and Mandrem and Arambol.

Beautiful beaches, gorgeous looking local people, young, sexy and chilled-out backpackers, it was probably the best day I had in India.
