India – day 5 – Anjuna beach Wednesday flee market

Anjuna is the hippie joint, and Israelis used to love Anjuna a while back when it was still the center for wild mushroom trance parties, which are now considered illegal, are a bit harder to find, and are often visited by the local police.

Wednesdays are especially nice in Anjuna, with the local flee markets gathering up all the modern “hippies” of the area. I guess it’s a bit more commercialized now, but it’s still pretty neat. Here’s from Wiki :

Anjuna is known throughout North Goa and to travellers from all over the world for its flea market at the Beach (Wednesdays), where one can find anything from Indian souvenirs to Trance music.
