		<description>Things, I'm afraid, haven't changed in Tainan. Tainan still has a very problematic public transport system and English is almost non-existent. 

To those coming I would suggest renting a scooter (100-200NT$ a day) or a car (a bit more) from the back of the train station that will help get around. For information, the Tainan Tourist Information Center just in front of the train station will provide you with enough resources in English.

You and the wife coming back to visit sometime soon? ;)</description>

		<description>My wife's from Tainan.  There are a lot of awesome places to eat.  Not to mention the beautiful temples and parks.  I think what's holding back tourism in Tainan is that the last time I was there there were very few signs in English and the mass transit wasn't too good.  That was back in 2003, so things may have changed.
