Fili's World - 2007 stats and numbers ; Taipei 101 exploding with fireworks Not that anybody would find it interesting, but I’ll do it anyhow so I could look back sometime in the future and laugh at those numbers.

2007 has been the year when Fili’s World turned from being a blog completely unknown to anybody into a blog that’s almost completely unknown to anybody. Somehow, because of a little experiment I ran a while ago, Google’s been nice to this blog, especially regarding keywords I feel a bit uncomfortable about (though they always bring up a smile). So, without further due, here are the embarrassing details for 2007 :

If there’s anything else you’re curious about I left out, let me know.

Goals : Get more information about Taiwan’s beauty out-there, try and understand more about China. Doubling the current traffic would be nice (not that it’s likely with our Taiwan niche).

We all kind'o do, in a way. I'm not the first one to write about Betelnut girls, or Asian beauty, and everybody mentions some sex related subjects every once in a while (that upcoming Eros movie, for example) - but somehow here they got alot of SE attention.

David, you've never finished tweaking your blog. It's small things but they matter. Like - everytime I log in to your site it bothers me seeing that 15 RSS reader Feedburner button, when I know you have maybe more than 10-15 times that readership (seeing incoming traffic when you write about this blog). Why not take the 2 minutes to install FeedSmith. Naturally, there are also some SEO tweaks I mentioned to you before that you can run, to leverage the sex related posts you do write ;).
  • Those numbers are quite amazing. I guess I should write more about sex! My traffic is a lot lower than yours, but the most popular posts on my blog are the reviews I have written of Taiwanese movies.
