Going to RT-Mart behind my house this morning I was extremely surprised to find a whole new section with products I’ve been looking for ever since I got here in Tainan – real cheese products. I’ve heard rumors that there are some available in the bigger Carrefour branches, but I haven’t found any so far.
It couldn’t have been there before, I couldn’t have been. Seeing that shelf with the cheese products just made me … happy. I didn’t even care that those products are extremely over-priced and don’t even come close to the variety back home. It’s cheese – and it’s here in Tainan. Together with their fairly okay vegetable and fruits section – I can finally fell like I’m eating normally.
Some light (!!!) Philadelphia cream cheese, Roquefort, Camembert and extra creamy Danish blue cheese. Ahhh… heaven.
