London, Shanghai, Tokyo, New York and TelAviv : World street fashion compared

Ilook, an Israeli blog I displaying some of Israel’s diverse street fashion, got me interested in trying to examine some of the differences between the local street fashion and what I’ve seen in London and Asia. Through Shanghaiist I found a Japanese site with a Street Fashion Photo that shows street fashion from various capitols around the world.

Here are some of the highlights from each place:

TelAviv

London

Shanghai

Tokyo

New York

Can you notice the distinct style? I think it’s fascinating, and I wonder if anybody did some serious research about this.

Go visit the sites to see more.

You could mix them up a bit and now know where they are from. Tokyo stands out the most, never been there so I am not sure, I am generalising based on what I see on TV. I have been every else.
