Explaining Israeli culture to foreign workers in Israel

Ever stopped to consider just how strange your own culture might be to foreigners?

I honestly believe Israeli culture is almost impossible to understand if you’re not a local. I’ve tried many times explaining Israeli and Jewish peculiarities to my foreign friends, but my attempts always ended up sounding extremely odd. There are so many strange details, so many complications, so many cultural differences - that it never ends.

Nitzani, an Israeli comedian, has taken the impossible challenge of trying to explain Israeli culture to Israeli foreign workers, AKA “Strange workers”. Check it out, it’s absolutely hilarious (through Israelity). :

“Israeli and Jewish peculiarities” and “so many strange details, so many complications, so many cultural differences” make my heart pounding!

Also, I’m appreciating your giving me an interesting glimpse into Asian communities in Israel, no need to mention your loving persepective. :)
