Is Chinabounder’s “Sex and Shanghai” back?!

Remember the "Sex and Shanghai" blog written by Chinabounder about his sexual adventures in Shanghai that was forced to close down and hide out due to a collaborative hunt by the China netizens? a story covered by almost all the big China blogs and the very keen international media? Mao, Ho Chi Minh and Asian History

Leaving London and having a few moments to spare at the Heathrow Airport to get rid of my remaining pounds, I entered the book shop and looked for something interesting to read. After consulting with the young lady about a good China related read she referred me to the then recently published "Mao - The Unknown Story", a heavy-weight book written by Jung Chang (and her historian husband) who’s famous for her previous China history autobibliographic epic "Wild Swans".

Any plans for the Chinese new year?

Where will you be spending your Chinese new year? Hopefully, you get a chance to actually have Chinese new years in China/Taiwan.
 
Me? Being still very far away from Asia, I found out I have 3 options, which all sound great:

The Chinese loving Israelis from the "China culture and language" are meeting up. Details here.
The Chinese embassy is holding a formal Chinese new year celebration at the Chinese embassy.
The Tiawanese are having a get-together on Chinese new year for the Taiwanese staying in Israel.

Donno, a tough one. I will probably head to meet the other Israelis, and maybe drop by either the Taiwan/China office/embassy on the way there. …
