Awful China Related Google Adsense Mistakes

I’ve been running Google’s Adsense program on some of the sites that I’m in charge of, and every once in a while I encounter a very insensitive sometimes awful Google Adsense mistakes. The worst Adsense problems usually happen in regard to the Hebrew version, which seems completely out of control with ads running things like "A girl with no sex organs" and other horrible headlines. This week I saw a new Hebrew ad on the Chinese Garden, which is a community site that I run intended for my Chinese-loving Israeli friends. Since the ads are subject focused, most of the ads are about doing business with China or learning Chinese. Here’s the ad :

Google's Hebrew Adsense Ad About China

Now, for those of you not reading Hebrew - this ad is about a company who’s doing quality control in Asia for a few hundred bucks "with everything included". At the beginning of the ad, just next to the TM (Trademark) sign they have a slogan which I think was suppose to be "we’re your eyes" but because of a spelling mistake it actually reads "we’re your poor". So, what the ad actually looks like is : "We’ll be your poor people at the manufacturing line in China(TM)".

This isn’t the only insensitive mistake that I’ve seen regarding China, with ads that might translate to something like "Want to take advantage of the Chinese? We’ll help you!", and "Ask us how to make a profit off the Chinese". Though I can guess what they really meant, it still brings shivers down my spine every single time.

This almost seems like a case of Chinglish translated into Hebrew and then back into English. Like you said, probably not any insensitivities intended, but it does come off pretty bad. Of course, there are the occassional adsense ads that are just aweful in any language.

Haha, as I’ve got Google Ads running on all my sites, I’ll have to keep an eye open for some of these. As I’m not bothered much by political incorrectness or lack of sensitivity, to me it’s all just humorous, but as a company … Google needs to be a lot more careful.

    Hi,
I have found similar problem on my site.

My Hebrew Tahiland Travelogue shows irrelevant Google ads. I noticed that similar Hebrew Thailand sites by others, also show same irrelevant ads. Whilst same other sites, for other countries (let say, even Burma, or Hong Kong) show relevant ads. Even ads for Thailand, when the country is Indonesia or Burma.

I tried cotacting Adsense help center in this regard, but only got automatic reply.

Does anyone know other way to fix this problem?
