Jerusalem - the Rehavia tour … -3-

This is the final round of photos from my old neighborhood of Rehavia. It was quite surprising for me recalling how much there is to see in this small neighborhood.

The special ‘twist’ about this round of photos is that it’s taken on a Saturday morning, the Jewish holy day, which might not mean much in other cities, but in Jerusalem it brings a special atmosphere. Thinking back on Taiwanese Jessie’s mother’s impressions of how people are in Jerusalem on a Saturday (Link), I could experience things a bit differently. Families, all dressed up, walking slowly on the empty streets, almost no cars, all shops and businesses are closed, everything is -very- quiet. I guess that it is, indeed, very unique.
