Language

.
At the time I couldn’t get it. We were usually both naughty high-schoolers that didn’t spend too much time in the classroom, and when we did - we would usually drift out to other worlds or find something else to do meanwhile class that we were interested in. We used to spend a great deal of time together, especially during the 9th and 10th grade, since we were interested in a lot of the same things - liking technology , sci-fi and hanging at the movies. Every once in a while we would start weird projects together - usually geeky computer related ones, like opening a 2400baud modem BBS called Waste of …

A different touch

.

I try to add a little something every once in a while to make this bloggy thing more interesting for me and also get to know something new about cool stuff that other bloggers do. Most additions are not very noticeable (search, tagging, translation, linking, feeds, etc.), but I guess this new layout one is.

Application time has passed, and if not enough – we don’t open again. We need at least 3, at least 3, so you tell me now if you continue”. Pressure, pressure, no moment to lose, decisions, decision, we need to make decisions. Decisions that we make …

.

“Where did it all start?” they would ask, as expected, and I would always start muttering something about not knowing exactly. I couldn’t quite place it, since it was more of a continuous process than a single point in time, yet I was curious myself as to what initiated it all. By now, I think I have a faint idea as for the origin of this.

Committed to a Dutch recommendation from long ago I started diving into Wild Swans. This one proves a unique challenge to read, not because it’s boring or dull, but rather because it’s so fascinating and exciting. Trouble is that every page gets me into deep thoughts and into informative look ups on the web. …
