Finally at ChangMai. It’s nice around here.
God knows I was worried that last day how things would be here, if I’d like the place, if I’d be able to get along. But once you step into the plane, most of your worries are gone, so I guess it’s mostly the “saying goodbye” part. Even the weird smell and the short funny people at Bangkok don’t bother all that much. Guess I was hoping it would turn out like this.
Everything went smoothly. A sweet ride with Elal, easy cheap ticket (1350) to ChangMai from the domestic terminal with One-Two-Go, and I’m here. Haven’t met too many Israelies apart from a cute Israeli Arabic couple that gave me the ChangMai quick tourist tip info. Neat.
I’m currently staying at the pricy Winner Inn Hotel. Maybe I’ll go hang out at Beit Chabad tomorrow and see how I take things from there.
